cd cover design using adobe photoshop/illustrator
hi friend , Tutorial time ..kihaaa.Actually my 2 single song already mix and mastering completely.I try send this 2 song today to sabahvfm and suria pagi sabah suriafm kalau kana terimala ..kihi .BTW i need to design cd cover for this purpose.
Kalau kana terima oleh tu stesen rediu kamu tadangar jugalah itu kalau ndak kana terima faham-faham lah.I publish 2 single song before i publish compilation album next year with my friend.
Ok back to the tutorial.
Step 1
open adobe photoshop application, create new artwork , create your image manipulation design here before export to adobe illustrator application.Setup your working area , you need to know the actual size of your cd case.I use rectagular marquee tool and rulers tool at adobe photoshop .
Step 2
Create your design at your working area ( actual size cd case ).Look at Screen shoot below.
i.Create new layer, This is example only , i create gradient color using gradient tool.
ii.Create pattern
iii.add image , fill overlay effect
iv.add your picture ..tadaaa
Step 3
Open your adobe illustrator and paste it.Add text and information to your design.
Done!! your design ready to print kihaaa.See the final product below.
